Before I Embarked On
My Online Journey
First things first, let’s get one thing straight – I’m not some extraordinary figure. Just like all of you, I’m a regular guy who craved his own slice of the online business pie.
So, here’s the scoop – if I could make it happen, believe me, you’ve got what it takes to make it too.
Before diving headfirst into the entrepreneurial world, I was a part-time property agent, hustling to cover my university expenses and pocket a little extra cash.
Most of the time, you’ll find me constantly looking for possible sales, chasing leads and seeeking out opportunities to enrich my skill set.
These endeavors, however, had their COSTS.
I ended up skipping a good chunk of my university classes. And yet, defying the odds, I not only passed but excelled brilliantly.
How? Let me spill the secret.
My networking and social skills played a vital role. They helped me complete my tasks, form dependable connections with classmate and even negotiate with my professors.
In a nutshell, the art of networking and negotiation propelled me forward, both academically and in my budding career.
Confronting Challenges &
Overcoming Obstacles
One fateful day, I stumbled upon a book titled “Secrets of Millionaire Students” by Stuart Tan.
After reading it, I dared to chase my dream of becoming a millionaire – even though I was just a university student back then.
But little did I know, this was only the first chapter of a wild journey packed with challenges and obstacles.
My first significant obstacle? A deficit in knowledge and skills.
I attended various online marketing seminars, paid for expensive mentors, and, finally, in 2013, took the leap to start my online business.
This was also the moment of reckoning – I left behind university, fueled by excitement and big dreams.
I had plans for everything, from the kind of house and car I wanted, to the family I envisioned. (Well, until reality delivered a resounding wake-up call)
The Brunt Of reality
Facing Tough Times
Every dream I had meticulously woven shattered, each one crumbling like fragile glass, leaving me trapped within a labyrinth of debt and despair.
But my story didn’t end here… I refused to surrender to the void!
As I moved forward, another monstrous obstacle emerged — CAPITAL. (Ah, the formidable challenge every entrepreneur faces when they start out.)
In a world where silver spoons were as rare as mythical unicorns, I tried regular 9-to-5 jobs, but they didn’t suit me.
At this crossroads, I found myself torn.
I was entangled in confusion.
And I found myself grappling with uncertainty, clueless about my next step…
Found The Solution
My Turning Point
As I pushed to turn things around, a light bulb moment struck – the key to getting back on track was securing a bank loan.
Upon seeking assistance from the bank, a transformation occurred within me. I realised I needed a stable and solid background to qualify for a loan
So, I chose to pursue roles within the realm of banking and one bank accepted me as a telemarketer.
With the determination to not let failure define me, I poured all my effort and countless honing my skills and build a good background for my loan application.
Remarkably, I achieved this within a mere six months.
Once the loan was approved, I said goodbye to my job, ready to pursue what I had envisioned from the very beginning.
Now, things got exciting. I could finally start building my own brand. Working on my business full-time granted me the freedom I needed – no strict hours, no unpaid time off and no limits on how I did things.
But, let’s be real. Challenges remained a constant companion, and yes, I stumbled and fumbled along the way.
But here’s the twist – I never let those stumbles keep me down for long.
Then, in 2015, the pivotal moment arrived. At last, I reaped the rewards from my online business. While it might not have seemed significant to many, it held immense value for me.
It felt like a beacon, affirming that the time and effort I had invested in learning online marketing were yielding results.
My Little
Achievements
Continuing my usual routine with my online business (constantly refining and improving, of course), I achieved consistent results from my marketing campaigns.
Finally, I gained the ability to invest in marketing tools and software.
I equipped myself with handy page builder, analytic tools and tracking software. These tools help me to automate most part of my online business.
As a result, my earnings started to multiply – double, triple and even quadruple compared to my initial gains.
This achievement isn’t exclusive to me; it’s also achievable for you if you equip yourself with the proper techniques, tools, and strategies.
